This is a scarce and desireable factory spring-loaded fish hook from 1899 know as "The Guillotine" in excellent condition. I am selling this for my neightbor Bill Blauser, co-author of the book on spring hooks. He describes this as being a size 5/0, second model guillotine which measures 3.75" long and which still retains more than 95%of it's original japanned finish. Bill says it sets easily and he guarantees it to be 100% original and correct. This type of springhook is in fact pictured on the back of his book in the upper right hand corner. I will be selling some of Bill's duplicates over the next few months (so add me to your favorites) - if you have any questions about anything or if you are looking for anything specific, you can contact Bill at springhook@comcast.net Good Luck!! NO RESERVE!! I SHIP FREE WORLDWIDE USPS FIRST CLASS SHIPPING. THIS HAS ALWAYS WORKED FOR ME IN THE PAST, BUT IF YOU WOULD LIKE A MORE SECURE METHOD OF SHIPPING, I WILL CHARGE EXACTING SHIPPING CHARGES FOR YOUR PREFERRED METHOD.
